Competency Activity Overview
Learning Goals:
Creative problem solving or CPS, is one of the five core virtual technology competencies identified in the literature that students need to master for their future career success. The learning objective for this module is to encourage and develop students’ innovative and creative solutions to in applying virtual technology in the fashion industry.
Learning Outcomes:

Students will be able to identify the pros and cons about the use of Augmented Reality (AR) and Virtual Reality (VR) in the fashion industry.

Students will be able to explain the logic and reasoning behind AR/VR.

Students will be able to propose an application of AR/VR in one of the processes including but not limited to fashion design, product development, manufacturing, or fashion retailing.

Students will be able to describe CPS and apply CPS in practical problems of AR/VR adoption.

Students will be able to make recommendations to solve the problems facing the fashion industry in adopting AR/VR technologies using the CPS processes.
